An ancient Greek saying by the philosopher Heraclitus, meaning "everything flows." This fashion editorial is a critical reflection on how we perceive and handle time today. Constantly on the run, caught up in a hundred what-if scenarios about the future, we lose our ability to be present. Naomi Tarazi's dresses, inspired by the organic shapes of nature and flowers, embody this concept - playing into the theme of transience, both of nature and of the human being. The floral symbol at the heart of this editorial is an appeal to the viewer to appreciate the present, because tomorrow the flowers may have wilted. Quite often, I ask myself this simple question: Who will I be tomorrow? Not out of stress, force, or forgetting the moment I’m in, but by asking, differently put: What feeling or experience from today do I want to carry into tomorrow? And what am I ready to let go of?
